This course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the methods used to identify, assess and control hazards at the workplace to the level required to satisfy legislative and moral requirements for ensuring health and safety at a workplace.

• Appropriate controls identification for hazards in accordance with the ‘hierarchy of control’
• How to assist management select and implement the best controls
• Monitoring applied control measures
• Developing risk management register
